Two Builds for a Beast of a PC

Whether designing or gaming (or in some cases, doing both),  finding a decent to good computer is necessary to support your hobby, job, or need. Any person can buy a pre made build with all the correct drivers and convenience. I find it more preferable to build a custom personal computer (pc) rather than purchase a premade beast. Pros, you have custom features for your individualized needs. Cons the cost and you kind of have to know what you want or what you'll be using it for

Now if you know you'll be using 3dmax or any adobe program, you have to find a balance between cuda cores for adobe products and rendering strength for 3d max.  Of course, coming out soon, nvidia and radeon gnu's will be able to SLI (bridge) and that will solve all our proglems. But if you cannot wait and you need a cpu (computer) asap with the option of upgrading the custom built pc or adding another GPU (graphics processing unit), here are my recommendations for parts that will be both 3d max friendly and adobe friendly with an option to upgrade and SLI two different GPU's (nvidia an radeon) later.

The two builds are an Intel core i7 vs an AMD chipset. Pro of intel is that more games are compatible with intel (some games may crash with AMD but the list is not that extensive).

Chip: Ryzen 7 1800x (AMD BUOLD Option A) or Intel - Core i7-7700K 4.2GHz Quad-Core Processor (Kaby Lake Option B)

Motherboard (MoBo): MSI - X370 GAMING PRO CARBON ATX AM4 Motherboard (Option A AMD) or MSI - Z270 GAMING PRO CARBON ATX LGA1151 Motherboard (Option B Kaby Lake)

The rest stays the same

GPU: Gigabyte - GeForce GTX 1080 8GB G1 Gaming Video Card

PSU (Power Supply):  EVGA - SuperNOVA G2 750W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply

CPU Cooler: Noctua - NH-U12S 55.0 CFM CPU Cooler

Case: Corsair - Crystal 460X RGB ATX Mid Tower Case

Memory (RAM): G.Skill - Ripjaws V Series 32GB (2 x 16GB) DDR4-3200 Memory

Storage: Samsung - 850 EVO-Series 250GB 2.5" Solid State Drive

Samsung - 960 EVO 250GB M.2-2280 Solid State Drive

Western Digital - Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive

Operating System: Microsoft - Windows 10 Home OEM 64-bit

Monitor: Asus - VS239H-P 23.0" 1920x1080 Monitor

These would be my recommendations or a AMD Radeon Pro (for professional design work) series or Quadpro- but for gaming ease, stick with the 1080- it is also VR ready,
